WWE Michelle McCool

American professional wrestler Michelle Leigh McCool was born on January 25, 1980 in Palatka, Florida. Working for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), she is the first to hold the title WWE Divas Champion. She competed in the 2004 WWE Diva Search, but became the fourth to be eliminated. Even so, she still managed to sign a three-year contract in November.
Later on, Michelle McCool became a fan favorite, as she appeared on SmackDown as a personal trainer, her gimmick. She participated in a number of “Best Body” competitions, but her first SmackDown match was when she teamed up with The Big Show. It took place in 2005, and was against Dawn Marie and Rene Dupree. This feud went on for a few weeks, but McCool moved on to another one: between MNM and Heidenreich.
Afterwards, McCool was sent to WWE’s Deep South Wrestling developmental facility. There, she had a variety of tasks, which included wrestling, performing interviews, hosting segments, and helping Nigel Sherrod provide the color commentary. During her time there, she was hospitalized after taking prescribed medication and was told to recover before returning. In 2006, she took on the “hot teacher” gimmick and went back to SmackDown. She subsequently aligned herself with Kristal Marshall, participating in a feud against Jillian Hall and Ashley Massaro. On the July 28 edition, McCool won her first singles match against Hall and soon became a valet for K.C. James and Idol Stevens’ team.
After being hospitalized once again, she returned to SmackDown in 2007 and became part of a 10-Diva tag team match. In RAW’s May 28 edition, she eliminated Melina and won the Memorial Day Bikini Beach Splash Battle Royal. After several more matches, McCool ended up caught in a feud between Jamie Noble and Chuck Palumbo. This was followed by a tag team match, with McCool teaming up with the two against The Miz, John Morrison and Layla. McCool suffered a concussion, but she recovered and in 2008, went on to compete in a series of contests with other Divas to determine who was top. The debuting Natalya Neidhart attacked all contenders, but McCool eventually defeated her and became the inaugural Divas Champion in July 2008.
